Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) and above, Port Monitor - Printer Pausing issue

If your printer gets paused when using Port Monitor on Mac OSX 10.10 (Yosemite) and above, please enter the two commands below in the Terminal application to fix the issue.

 

NOTE: THIS IS A FIX FOR 10.10 AND ABOVE ONLY DO NOT RUN THIS ON A MACHINE RUNNING MAC OS 10.9 AND BELOW

 

Run 'Terminal' application from Applications:   Applications → Utilities → Terminal.app

You’ll be asked for your admin password after the first command is entered:

 

sudo sh -c 'echo "Sandboxing Relaxed" >> /etc/cups/cups-files.conf'

sudo launchctl stop org.cups.cupsd
